Pink Galore
Just picked up on Jovan Velkoski aka Jovo Ve, an artist / art director from Macedonia currently living in Sweden.
How cool is this Janelle Monae portrait?
Be sure to check out www.jovove.com or Painted Numbers for more artwork!

Cauet
I grew up watching French television (Club Dorothée, Dragon Ball Z, dubbed American shows). Up until about 4 years ago I still watched some French TV. My favorite was ‘La Méthode Cauet’ (FR). Later I discovered Cauet (FR) had a televised radioshow ‘Cauetivi’.
Cauet (and his shows) is all about pop culture and cocking about.
Since I moved out on my own, I stopped...

Down a size
I was looking for a piece of clothing and found a pair of pants I’ve worn only once and it has been over a year. They’re a nice pair and I need it for a meeting this week. They’re casual chic. Yep, I’ve got hipster pants. But they’re too tight for my taste.
However, I tried them on. They’re still tighter than my other pants, but not as tight as I remember them...

I am awesome!
Just kidding. However, I will tell you what I am good at.
I love talking to people, in that sense that I am more of a listener than a talker. I can listen to anything. If you need to complain about something, utter your frustrations or just want to talk about whatever is on your mind, you can tell it all to me without interruptions.
Some say I have a talent for not making a mess. That is not...

#@$% Censorship
I am all for it but don’t be stupid. I already broke my rule for online conversation yesterday. Not doing it again.
But let’s meet face-to-face, then we can talk. About anything.
Cheers!

Sounds From Nowheresville
I received The Ting Tings’ new album ‘Sounds From Nowheresville’ to review it. The album as a whole is very enjoyable! It has some fun and catchy tunes.
Although it starts off slow with ‘Silence’ (Bag Raiders Remix), it picks up quickly with the second track. And maybe it’s just me, but Katie White sometimes has a bit of a Gwen Stefani sound, definitely on ‘Hit Me Down Sonny’. Also,...

Cheesy
My dreams are either way out there or way cheesy.
When I watch a show like Community I think to myself: I could do that. I think I can pull off being a correspondent for The Daily Show. I could be in a Scorsese film.
My favorite console game is Assassin’s Creed. It makes me fantasize about climbing buildings with absolute ease. Do a little free-running and never get tired. Also, how cool...

#MiikeSnowTwunch
Monday I went to a pre-listening of the new Miike Snow album (out on March 19th). It’s called ‘Happy To You’ and it’s quite good.
‘Happy To You’ brings nothing explosive or disruptive, but an easy and gentle yet frisky listen. Some tracks really get you moving. Despite having to sit still in a chair all day, it got me through an afternoon of work, which is always a big...

Well, well, well. We have an opinion over here.
[This post is part of Wijvenweek]
Today’s topic description presented (a.o.) funny women of substance. Killer combination. I’m all for it. So I’m just going to shut up and let two wonderful ladies do the talking. Enjoy!
(For today’s post I took the easy way out. The will to produce something of substance was taken away, so after coming home from work yesterday I did...

Guilty pleasures and little traits

The ladies
Or as I tend to call them: friends. I also found a ‘Not sure if…‘-meme that tends to happen rather often.
Confession: I like big butts (book*) and I don’t know why. There. I said it. I know what you’re thinking: “How exotic.” I know right.
I am going to leave it at that for the moment being. On to the next...

Beauty queen in my deepest thoughts
[This post is part of Wijvenweek]
If there’s one thing Tim Gunn and those other queer guys taught me is that I’m definitely not gay. Oh, and you should get to know the colors that match you the best as well as the clothes that suit your figure.
Shamefully, I haven’t done a thing with that piece of knowledge.
Smells nice
I brush my teeth, wash my face, shower, shave. Sometimes...

Made in Brooklyn
Dustin Cohen has made a short documentary called The Violin Maker, portraying the craftmanship and passion of Sam Zygmuntowicz. This film is the first episode of this ‘Made in Brooklyn’-series.
