I love discovering music, whether it be recent or old.
Next to discovering new tunes, it’s just as awesome to rediscover music that you haven’t heard in ages. Recently, NWA’s Chin Check and Ice Cube’s Hello popped up where I did not expect it, to be honest. This lead me back to another great track. It was the funniest diss I had ever heard when I first discovered the track on a Death Row Records ‘Greatest Hits’-album: Ice Cube - No Vaseline (see clip below).
Today mister Shuffle presented me ‘4, 3, 2, 1’ a track by LL Cool J featuring Method Man, Redman, Canibus, Master P and DMX. This lead to the LL vs. Canibus feud. A bit absurd how it all came to be, but great rhymes nonetheless.
